In a large pot over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil. Add the diced onion and sauté until softened.
Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute, stirring frequently.
Add the ground beef (and sausage if using) to the pot and break it into small pieces. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, Cajun seasoning, and Italian seasoning. Cook until the meat is browned.
Stir in the tomato paste and cook for 1–2 minutes.
Add the spaghetti sauce and chicken broth. Bring the mixture to a boil.
Once boiling, add the broken lasagna noodles and a splash of heavy cream. Reduce heat slightly and simmer until the pasta is tender.
Stir in the Parmesan cheese, ricotta cheese, and mozzarella cheese until melted and well combined.
Season with salt to taste and serve warm.
